About Us

Czech Export Bank (the "CEB") is a specialised, directly and indirectly state-owned banking institution. Established in 1995, it forms one of the pillars of the government's pro-export policy system. CEB's mission is to support Czech exports and the awareness of the Czech Republic as a well-established international exporter, and thus promote the overall competitiveness of Czech products throughout the world. CEB focuses on financial services related to exports. CEB has many years of experience in financing major export transactions of Czech exporters, as well as financing export contracts for smaller units or partial deliveries. Currently, it is foreign buyers - Czech exporters´ partners - to whom most CEB´s products are being disbursed, and for whom Czech goods and services are becoming attractive, not only due to their quality and reasonable prices. All CEB´s activities are in full compliance with the rules of WTO (World Trade Organisation), the relevant recommendations of OECD (Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development) and EU directives.
